To ensure the quality and relevance of papers presented at Technical Conferences, the Investment Casting Institute has established the following guidelines and procedural requirements:
Guidelines 1. Follow Template Design and Format (Click here for template) 2. Limited Commercial Content 3. Collaboration between Suppliers, Universities, and External Agencies with Member Foundry suggested 4. Suggested Topics: • Technical Content of Interest to Membership • How It’s Made and Use for Global Industry • New Product or Process Introduction endorsed by Member Foundry • Process Improvement / Lean Principles • Equipment Improvement • Yield Improvement – Scrap & Rework Reduction • Human Interest – Foundry history / Process history 5. Clear Objective, Methodology, Results, Summary, and Future Suggested Work Procedural Requirements 1. Submission of Abstracts 7 to 8 months prior to event 2. Submission of Preliminary PowerPoint for compliance review 3 months prior to the event 3. Submission of final white paper 3 month prior to the event 4. Submission of final PowerPoint to ICI 1 Month prior to the event (Last minute changes will not be allowed) 5.
