Intern Scholarship Program

Each year the Investment Casting Institute sponsors several scholarships to be awarded to college juniors and seniors who have completed an internship in the industry.  (On occasion, Member Companies and individuals have elected to sponsor an additional scholarship. Interested parties should contact the Institute at 201-573-9770 for more details.)  Scholarship applications are reviewed by the Executive Director, Education Committee Chairman and the Institute's Academic Advisor, with oversight from the Awards Committee Chairman.  Scholarship awards are made on the basis of academic performance, work assignment and student career ambitions.

Qualifications
To qualify for consideration as an ICI Intern Scholar, the applicant must:
  1. Be in their Junior or Senior year at the time the application is submitted
  2. Have a minimum average GPA of 2.75 on a 4 point scale in an industry applicable major
  3. Have completed a meaningful 10-14 week paid internship with a Company
  4. Be sponsored by the Company

How to apply
To apply for an intern scholarship:
  • Complete and sign the following application: Intern Scholarship Application
  • Have the Company sponsor co-sign the application.
  • Attach a 500 word career statement to the application and submit to the Institute.
Applications may be submitted via fax (201-573-9771), e-mail ([email protected]) or post.   This year’s application deadline is August 1, 2025.
