Mentorship Week - Exhibitor Information
As a Mentorship Week 2021 Exhibitor, you are agreeing to participate as a guide to high school and college students during the event, as it pertains to careers in the metal casting industry. This event is not a job fair, and therefore no provisions have been made for the exchange of resumes. The industry's career fair, the College Industry Conference, is conducted in person by the Foundry Educational Foundation and will take place in Chicago, IL from November 18-19.
Participating trade associations will be inviting students from member colleges. As there are a number of high school students planning to enter their local workforce upon graduation, Exhibitors are asked to reach out to their local high schools / school board, and provide them with the following brochure promoting the event:
There is no charge to register for a Mentorship Week 2021 booth, but those manufacturers registering for the event will be given the option to make a small contribution to the ICI Intern Scholarship Fund. This year's scholarships will be awarded on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the ICI's 68th Technical Conference and Expo at De Vos Place, Grand Rapids Michigan. Contributing exhibitors will be recognized during the ceremony, in signage at the Expo, on the ICI website for a period of one year and in INCAST Magazine.
