The Investment Casting Institute invites papers for presentation at the 73rd Technical Conference & Equipment Expo. This event is the industry’s primary forum for advancing the science, engineering, and practical application of investment casting across aerospace, defense, medical, energy, and industrial markets.

​For authors, this is an opportunity to contribute to the industry’s direction, demonstrate technical rigor, and place meaningful work in front of the people who rely on it.

Why Submit a Paper?

Presenting at the ICI Technical Conference allows you to:

The emphasis is on work that is both technically sound and practically useful—not on marketing or promotion.
All papers must be presented in English.

​In addition to general technical papers, ICI welcomes submissions from suppliers for the “How It’s Made” category. These papers should:
  • Provide a clear, technically rigorous explanation of how a material, product, or process is made.
  • Focus on technical detail, methods, and engineering—not marketing language.
  • Help foundries, OEMs, and other suppliers better understand the underlying process and its implications for quality, cost, and performance.
Foundry collaboration on these papers is welcome but not required. The same non-commercialism rules apply.
